FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers. No fluff.

Yes. The free tier includes 2 repos, VS Code, Lazygit, global shortcuts, custom keybindings, and launcher integrations. No time limit, no account required.

Unlimited repos. Every editor (Xcode, Cursor, Zed, Sublime Text, Neovim, Nova, Fleet). Every Git GUI (Sourcetree, Tower, Fork, GitKraken, GitHub Desktop). Plus tags, dirty indicators, push/pull status, and workflow detection.

You get a license key after purchase. Enter it in the app to unlock Pro. Valid for one year, renews automatically. Manage it anytime through the License Portal.

No. It only reads Git metadata — branch name, status, and remote tracking info. Your source code, file contents, and commit history never leave your machine.

All three work on Free and Pro. Spotlight indexes repos automatically. Alfred and Raycast have dedicated workflows — install from Settings. Free is limited to 2 repos.

macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later. Universal binary — runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel.

Not yet. Homebrew is the only install method for now. A direct download may come later.
